| Create two directories on the C: drive. (C:\temp and c:\HHC). Unpack the contents of the
"HHC.zip" (provided by IDS) into the C:\HHC directory. In Route Expert, Go to File - Setup - HHC and choose the correct com port number and under directories add "c:\hhc\" to the HHC: textbox. This allows Route Expert to know where the Psion send and receive files are located.
On the Psion HHC, make sure the remote link is on. To check press the 'Psion' key + 'L' key. A Remote Link window will pop up. The following settings need to be used: Remote Link: On Baud Rate: 38400 Port: A Parameters: If any changes were made to the remote link you must press the 'enter' key to save the changes and DO NOT press escape. After you press enter it will send you back to the main system screen (the main system screen is the one with the big icons). Go into MS-DOS Mode and into the C:\hhc directory. Type "loadhhc #" (the # representing the comport number the Psion is connected to. The Psion should be on the main system screen. The program will take about 15 - 30 seconds to send from MS-DOS to the Psion. After it is complete the program needs to be installed on the Psion HHC. On the main system screen press the 'menu' key and a menu bar will pop with multiple menu choices. Use the Right Arrow key and highlight 'APPS - Install' and press the 'Enter' key. An install window will pop up and the following choices should be made to install the HHC program: File Name : Hhc.app Disk : Internal Position : Current Press the 'Enter' key and the HHC program will appear on the main system screen with a pyramid logo. Highlight the HHC application and press the 'Enter' key. |
