Collecting Phones and Trouble Tickets

Collecting a phone with a mechanical lock
Select the site you are at in the Psion HHC and press 'Enter'
Select the phone you wish to collect and and press 'Menu' - select 'Collect' and press 'Enter'
Scan box out (box coming out of  phone) and scan box in (box going into phone)
Information is automatically saved into the PSion HHC
Collecting a phone with an electronic lock

There are 2 ways to collect phones with Electronic Locks (One-touch "ON" or One-touch "OFF".  See menu options on how to switch mode).  You can also browse to the specific Site - Phone and press 'Enter' to open the Electronic lock.
 
One-touch "ON"  --  Allows the user to press one key to open a lock.
Insert key into electronic lock.  Press the 'scan' key.  The Psion HHC will open the lock and prompt you to scan box in and box out.  After scanning the information is automatically saved into the Psion HHC
One-touch "OFF"  --  Allows the user to verify the ANI before opening the lock.
Insert key into electronic lock.  Press the 'scan' key.  The Psion HHC will bring you to the assigned ANI of that lock.  If you wish to open the lock and collect the phone press the 'Enter' key.  If the ANI is incorrect or you do not wish to collect that ANI, you can escape out and move on to the next phone.  If you decide to press the 'Enter' key and collect the phone, you will be prompted to scan box in and box out.  After scanning the information is automatically saved into the Psion HHC.
Opening a new Trouble Ticket
To open a new trouble ticket select the desired site and phone you wish to generate a ticket for.  Press the 'menu' key, select 'tickets' and press the 'enter' key.  If the phone has existing tickets a list will show up of all existing tickets and the option to create a new ticket.  If the phone currently has no existing ticket the new ticket window will automaticaclly appear.  you can specify the problem with the phone, any repairs done, enter a memo, and also close the new ticket from the new ticket window 
Closing an existing trouble Ticket
To close an existing trouble ticket select the desired site and phone you wish to repair.  Press the 'menu' key, select 'tickets' and press the 'Enter' key.  A list of all existing tickets will appear.  Highlight the ticket you wish to close and press the 'enter' key.  You can now specify any reapirs made to the phone, enter a memo, and close the trouble ticket.
