please keep the following general guidelines in mind:
Workstation Requirements
- Intel Pentium 100 MHz or faster
- 32MB of RAM
- 250MB of Available Disk Space
- 800x600 with 256 Colors Display Capability
- Mouse & Keyboard
Windows 95 OSR2 (aka Windows 950B)
-OR- Windows NT 4.0 or higher
Printer Requirements
Laser printers are strongly recommended for printing checks out of Route Expert.
Bubblejet and Inkjet printers striking points vary by manufacturer; therefore, IDS cannot guarantee the information will line up properly on the check.
Under these circumstances IDS can only support laser printers.

Hand Held Computer
Requirements
- Psion Workabout with built in CCD Scanner
- Husky FS3 Hand-Held Computer
- Medeco Electronic Locks
Network Requirements
Novell Netware v4.11 or higher -OR- Windows NT v4.0 with Service Pack 3
or higher.
TCP/IP must be installed. (System will function through a properly configured VPN or Fire Wall if necessary).
10/100 Base T and Token Ring.
Support for 56k DDS, ISDN, T-1/T-3, Frame Relay Wide Area Networks (WANs).
Dialup support can be provided.
Database Server hardware requirements will vary based on number of
workstations and number of phones, but should not be less than:
- Intel Pentium 200MHz Processor
- 64MB RAM
- 1 GIG available disk space
Server will support multi-processing if necessary.
